SEQUUS directors are frequently called upon to apply their knowledge of management to assess needs and evaluate organizations, programs, projects and services. We do not come at these assignments as 'experts' in needs assessment or evaluation, rather, we approach each assignment as part of the entire management process. We document the intent, the action, the results, the impact and the costs compared to the benefits. Our purpose is to assist the client to make decisions about what to do next. Many clients appreciate this practical, utilization focus. Our services include..
TRAINING EVALUATIONS. We have evaluated training programs at all four levels of the Kirkpatrick model and have pioneered return-on-investment evaluation in training in Manitoba.
ORGANIZATION EVALUATIONS. We use surveys and focus groups to evaluate all aspects of organizational performance from both an inside and external perspective.
RESULTS-OUTCOMES-IMPACTS. Funders in the not-for-profit sector are becoming more and more demanding. They want to assure themselves that dollars invested produce measurable results that have long term impact.
NEEDS ASSESSMENTS: At the front end of the planning process, clients often need clarification and assessment. In complex fields, understanding specifically what is needed from a program, service, project or from an entire organization is often difficult without speaking to end users or beneficiaries. We have learned to speak to them through surveys, focus groups, key informant interviews and community consultations.
In the past few years we have led evaluation-type projects in the music recording industry, in several associations, in an international consumers organization, in the manufacturing sector, in the quality field, in aerospace, in health care products, in child care, in government, in professional groups and more.
