Sequus has been engaged by the Manitoba Government to help them deal with some of the issues facing Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). The challenges of attracting, recruiting and retaining skilled workers are top on the list of concerns for SMEs according to industry surveys. Motivating employees for maximum productivity is also a high priority.
The Manitoba Government has tested its "Employer of Choice" program with twelve pilot companies and has extended the program to another 12 SMEs in 2005-06. Sequus has an agreement with Manitoba Government to make the tools it developed for this pilot available to other employers in Manitoba, across Canada.and beyond. That is the purpose of this website.
