Some of our clients in the agricultural sector assume that this is the only sector in which we work. We have worked with the federal and many of the provincial agriculture and food departments; the Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan Pulse Growers Association and Pulse Canada; the Canadian Canola Growers Association; Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta Wheat Pools; the Canadian Wheat Board; Xcan; UGG; Pioneer Grain; Manitoba Crop Diversification Centre; Manitoba and Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporations; the Canadian, Manitoba and Saskachewan Agriculture Credit Corporations; the Institute of Agrologists; Canadian Special Crops Association; and many of the rural fairs and exhibitions including the Brandon Royal Winter Fair , the Lethbridge Fair, the Red River Exhibition and we recently helped develop the long term plan for the Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions.
Our work in this sector is often the facilitation of important strategic conferences, meetings or workshops. We helped Manitoba Agriculture establish its groundbreaking Vision 2000 (which has recently been updated to Vision 2010). We do a lot of management development and training in this sector and have completed major studies of ag-related organizations with a view to improve their effectiveness. We work with many boards and often provide speakers on management topics at rural conferences. We have even taught Consulting Skills to ag reps.
